The William H. and Mattie Wattis Harris Foundation is a private foundation located in Las Vegas, Nevada, dedicated to improving the well-being of plants, animals, and human beings across the western United States.
We fund organizations that qualify for 501(c)(3) status in five core areas: the arts, conservation, educational camps, preventative health, and wildlife and large animals. Our geographical focus is concentrated in the western United States, including the Rocky Mountain and Intermountain regions.
The Directors consider projects that identify root causes and develop innovative solutions with far-reaching, lasting impact. The maximum solicited grant request is $10,000. Letters of Inquiry are accepted between January 1 and March 1 each year.
